Community Assistance Fund Grants

The Community Assistance Fund (CAF) responds to the financial needs of nonprofit organizations, specifically for programs and projects related to Junior League of Champaign-Urbana position statements, including child protection and welfare, families, health, hunger, literacy, shelter, school preparedness, voluntarism, and supporting women.

Grossman Trust Grant

The Robert M Gross Trust grant supports nonprofit organizations with child and family nutrition programs that work to prevent childhood hunger and malnutrition in the Champaign-Urbana schools by providing supplemental food for school children that is distributed at school and taken home to meet weekend or school break nutritional needs.

Volunteer Needs or Item Donations

Done In A Day (DIAD) and Done In A Meeting (DIAM) respond to the needs of local nonprofit organizations. Both of these opportunities are for programs and projects related to our position statements, including child protection and welfare, families, health, hunger, literacy, shelter, school preparedness, voluntarism, and supporting women.

Done in a Day partners receive trained Junior League volunteers for a specific project. If your organization needs volunteer assistance, click here to fill out the DIAD request form.

Done In A Meeting partners receive items donated by Junior League members during one of our meetings. If your organization has a need for donated items, click here to fill our the DIAM request form.

Nonprofit Assistance and Collaboration Team (NPACT)

The Nonprofit Assistance Collaboration Team is an exciting opportunity for community organizations to work with the Junior League of Champaign Urbana for a one-year term. JLCU will provide volunteer hours, financial assistance, expertise, and support to fulfill needs and complete projects for the partner organization. In return, the partner organization will provide JLCU members with education or training in their area(s) of expertise. Partners may apply for a renewal of the partnership each year.
